About me
I am a Research Scientist at National Library of Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health (NIH) working on biomedical NLP. Previously, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at NLM under the supervision of Dr. Dina Demner-Fushman. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, India, in 2020.
My research interests include multimodal AI, natural language processing, and foundation models for healthcare. I am interested in developing methods that help machines understand and generate medical information from text, images, and video. My work has focused on medical question answering, evidence-grounded generation, multimodal reasoning, and summarization for clinical decision support, education, and consumer health. I have also worked on question answering and text generation in multilingual and code-mixed settings.
